Greenland Expedition Summer 2016. Matt Rutherford and his crew gather data for multiple ocean research projects along Greenland’s west coast well above the Arctic circle. This time Matt has a bit more video capability than a single lipstick cam. With a dedicated cinematographer aboard shooting 4K and capturing pro sound, and drones for aerial photography this series will be an exciting visual and audio experience above the Arctic Circle. Great job Matt – looking forward to more.

A one-hour version of Red Dot, sponsored by Honda, had its U.S. Public Television premiere on Sunday April 17 in New York on WLIW and in Los Angeles on KCLS. Red Dot is airing on Public Television stations across the country through March 2018. See our calendar for stations, dates, and times. Red Dot on the Ocean has been accepted for broadcast on Public TV. Our Presenting Station is WPBT2 Miami and our Public TV program national distributor is American Public Television. APT offered Red Dot to stations during its Fall Marketplace held in Atlanta in November 2015. During December, stations voted on programs in the APT online screening room. Thus far 80 stations have accepted Red Dot on the Ocean for broadcast and 25 have indicated they may. This list represents nearly one-third of U.S. Public TV stations with the majority in the top 100 markets include New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, DC and Miami. Combined these stations serve some 62 million TV households with a population of 157 million potential viewers. Broadcasts will begin in spring 2016 and run for two years.
